The team at BARNZ are in constant contact with agencies, regulators and Ministers as we work to ensure the best possible settings for airlines operating to, from and within New Zealand.  We are embedded in New Zealand’s aviation conversations, which means we keep BARNZ members well informed.

Key Member Events: Conference & AGM

The BARNZ Conference is an annual event, held in Wellington in May each year. This event is an opportunity for BARNZ members to hear directly from the many government agencies and entities that interact with aviation. Speakers have included the Chief Executives of Transport, Civil Aviation Authority, Customs and executive speakers from agencies and entities such as Ministry for Primary Industries, Immigration, MBIE Tourism and Airways New Zealand.  

 

The BARNZ Conference welcomes the Minister with responsibility for aviation to attend - which enables for members to discuss issues with the Minister directly.

 

The BARNZ AGM is held in Auckland in September of each year. As well as dealing with the business of BARNZ as an incorporated society, the BARNZ AGM is another opportunity to network with other members, and hear from BARNZ on its areas of strategic focus.
